La serie de teclados Yamaha PSR está pensado para arreglistas, pues nos permiten tener acompañamiento mientras creamos otras partes de la composición, también para «Hombres Orquesta», pues en un solo teclado podemos tener toda una orquesta de acompañamiento, por ejemplo, el PSR-900 viene con 392 voces y 19 kits de batería / SFX, 480 voces XG, más GM2 y GS. Cuenta además con un total de 305 estilos de usuario: 281 estilos Pro, 24 estilos de sesión y Estilos MegaVoice. Hay una función de configuración de One Touch (OTS), con 4 para cada estilo.
