Para crear SCARBEE RICKENBACKER® BASS se grabó un Rickenbacker® 4003 con cuerdas Rotosound de acero inoxidable directamente en Pro Tools con cables premium Mogami y un preamplificador Metric Halo LIO-8, garantizándose que cada tono de este bajo legendario se registrara con una calidad prístina. Las articulaciones «picked» disponibles por primera vez en el bajo SCARBEE proporcionan el tono crujiente tantas veces escuchado en discos de rock y pop desde los 60. Evitando el sistema integrado foam muting de Rickenbacker®, las articulaciones palm-muted se crearon con la mano de la púa sobre el puente, lo que garantiza el realismo de una actuación real. Las articulaciones «open picked» se tocaron entre las pastillas, y las dos se grabaron con la salida estéreo única Rick-O-Sound para lograr el tono Rickenbacker® clásico.

SCARBEE RICKENBACKER® BASS se basa en el Rickenbacker® 4003, lanzado en 1980 como sucesor del modelo 4001 y en uso constante desde 1960. Ya famoso como «mix sitter» frente a muchas guitarras, el 4003 mejoró con mucho la respuesta de bajo de la pastilla del cuello de 4001 para darle la respuesta tonal equilibrada que lo hizo conocido. El tono crujiente y tormentoso de estos bajos se ha inmortalizado en algunos de los álbumes de rock y pop de más éxito de la historia, y ahora está a tu alcance.

Delivering meaty, low end thunder and the crisp, defined midrange that has shaped rock and pop history, RICKENBACKER® BASS is the first software instrument to be officially approved by Rickenbacker®. Painstakingly sampled by Thomas Skarbye, ideal for distortion, and the first SCARBEE bass to be played with a pick, RICKENBACKER® BASS delivers all the character and versatility of the original in an ultra-flexible, completely authentic KONTAKT instrument.

To create SCARBEE RICKENBACKER® BASS, a Rickenbacker® 4003 with stainless steel Rotosound strings was recorded direct into Pro Tools with premium Mogami cables and a Metric Halo LIO-8 preamp, assuring every nuance of this legendary bass came through in pristine quality. Picked articulations available for the first time in a SCARBEE bass provide the crisp tone heard on countless rock and pop records since the 60s. Avoiding Rickenbacker®’s integrated foam muting system, palm-muted articulations were created with the pick hand positioned over the bridge, ensuring the realism of a true performance. Open picked articulations were played between the pickups, and both were recorded using the unique Rick-O-Sound stereo output for classic Rickenbacker® tone.
