Hicimos 3 versiones de la GUI y el script con varios controles e hicimos que un equipo de probadores beta probara cada versión. Al final, combinamos la primera y la tercera iteración del instrumento.

Teníamos dos objetivos en mente cuando nos propusimos crear el X Grand: primero, hacer un piano a medida tanto en sonido como en función para productores modernos que crean géneros como Pop, Hip Hop, Indie Pop, Future Bass, House y más. Cada piano con el que nos encontramos y que se comercializaba para «Pop» sonaba como si estuviera hecho en la década de 1990 e iba a aparecer de manera destacada en un álbum de reunión de Backstreet Boys. En segundo lugar, elimine todos los controles y funciones innecesarios que conducen a una falta de productividad debido a los ajustes constantes e interminables. Todos tenemos esas bibliotecas de piano que te dan control sobre cosas como golpes de tapa, crujidos de asientos, longitud de las uñas de los dedos del pianista (bueno, tal vez no sea la última, pero entiendes el punto).

We know what you’re thinking. Another piano? There are probably more piano sample libraries out there than any other type of library, but there’s none quite like the X Grand. We made 3 versions of the GUI and script with various controls and had a team of beta testers try out each version. In the end we combined the 1st and 3rd iterations of the instrument.
We had two goals in mind when we set out to create the X Grand: First, make a piano tailor-made in both sound and function for modern producers who make genres like Pop, Hip Hop, Indie Pop, Future Bass, House and more. Every piano we came across that was marketed for «Pop» sounded like it was made in the 1990’s and was going to be prominently featured on a Backstreet Boys reunion album. Second, strip away any unneeded controls and features that lead to a lack of productivity because of constant, never-ending tweaking. We all have those piano libraries that give you control over things like lid thumps, seat creaks, pianist finger nail length (okay maybe not that last one, but you get the point).
