Su hombre a quien acudir para este paquete era su amigo Dan Walker, también conocido como el asombroso NineLives The Cat. Con residencia en Brooklyn, Dan ha aparecido en muchas grandes melodías house y breakbeat a lo largo de los años con apariciones en proyectos de Kelevra, Rennie Pilgrim, Diverted y como MC invitado en el reciente paquete de muestras Black Noise en Monster Sounds. Dan también es parte del grupo de punk thrash rap helter skelter The Deathset, firmado con NinjaTune, quienes han tenido la suerte de que Diplo y SpankRock agreguen sabores a sus sonidos. Ninelives the Cat tongue en estilo mejilla recuerda a Beastie Boys y Run DMC en los años 80.

Many times in the studio you hit a wall when making a tune. The need for an MC to take the track from being great to being a remembered banger is so simple but tricky if you don’t know any decent mic controllers. Monster Sounds label bosses Aquasky / BlackNoise have been fortunate over the years to have befriended and associated with many great vocalists and here they compile the first of what will be many Rap Acapella packs for the professional and the bedroom producer.
Their ‘go to’ man for this pack was friend Dan Walker aka the awesome NineLives The Cat. Residing in Brooklyn, Dan has appeared on many great house and breakbeat tunes over the years with appearances on projects by Kelevra, Rennie Pilgrim, Diverted and as guest MC on the recent Black Noise sample pack on Monster Sounds. Dan is also part of the helter skelter punk thrash rap outfit The Deathset, signed to NinjaTune, who have been lucky enough to have had both Diplo and SpankRock adding flavours to their sounds. Ninelives the Cat tongue in cheek style is reminiscent of Beastie Boys and Run DMC back in the 80’s.
