Cassette Keys.02 contiene dos instrumentos, ambos inspirados en las teclas FM clásicas de los años 80, pero ampliadas con otras técnicas de síntesis e incluso un poco de muestreo para lograr interesantes sonidos transitorios. Cada instrumento contiene 5 capas dinámicas y fue grabado con 3 reproductores de cassette diferentes. En general, hay 2193 muestras: 365 muestras por deck, más 3 muestras de ruido de cada deck (5,73 GB de archivos WAV de 24 bits sin comprimir).

Cassette Keys.02, a successor of Cassette Keys.01, wasn’t created to replace it, but rather to make things different, bigger, and to make use of the new .02 interface. In fact, both of those instruments complement each other very well. Cassette Keys.02 contains two instruments, both inspired by classic FM keys from the 80s, but expanded with other synthesis techniques plus even a little sampling to achieve interesting transient sounds.
